OUR WORK FOCUSES ON CULTURALLY COURAGEOUS LEADERSHIP FOR SHAPING THE PRESENT TO CREATE A MORE EQUITABLE  FUTURE.

WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER

Experience

I have held Director and Superintendent level positions in educational leadership at the school district and county level, provided executive coaching and consultation for over 60 school districts throughout California and the United States, and served as an adjunct lecturer for undergraduate and masters/doctoral level students in five universities. My clients often want me to help them rejuvenate ongoing efforts to facilitate capacity

building in instructional leadership and/or the use of systemic approaches to achieve equity. See link below for part 2 of Equity Walk Handbook.

I have extensive experience in guiding a collaborative examination of the interface between leadership, cultural politics,

dysfunctional organizational norms, and adult/student outcomes, followed by concerted action. My book is titled

WALKING THE EQUITY TALK, a guide for culturally couragous leadership in school communities (2012). See link below.

Approach

My service includes comprehensive 360 degree processes to identify and prioritize leadership growth needs. This may include guidance in planning and implementing systemic interventions to increase equitable learning opportunities and outcomes. Coaching includes strengthening "culturally courageous leadership" in order to successfully navigate the 'politics of implementation' when trying to achieve academic and cultural excellence for historically underserved students/families. See link below. Consultation  includes guidance in developing comprehensive equity planning processes & delivery systems.  That’s how I ensure your success.

Why Me?

Executive coaching is my speciality. I give every client the time and guidance needed.  Whether you’re seeking a strategic alliance with the right partner and/or a special skillset when trying to achieve your goals, call me today. My work has resulted in leadership that enhanced organizational effectiveness, cultural responsiveness, problem solving, coalition building, equity accountability, and data collection/analysis. Together we’ll refine your plan for success in how you simultaneously 'grow' individuals and your school/school district/educational entity.

As your mentor/coach, I can help you make the difference.
